Welcome to the largest and most complete photographic library on herbaceous plants ever offered on CD-ROM.
The library contains images of annuals, perennials, ferns, bulbs, wildflowers and ornamental grasses.
Specific groups of plants such as cut flowers, bedding plants, and greenhouse crops are also found.
Many of the plants shown include more than one image; for example, the habit of a particular plant may be shown as well as a close-up of the flower. Often a number of images showing the plant in a garden setting are included. In the library, over 200 images of irises, 80 of heuchera, 120 of lilies, 40 of peonies, and 350 images of hostas, are included to demonstrate differences and similarities between species and cultivars All genera are similarly treated, although the number of images often depends on their popularity as landscape and garden plants. On the other hand, one of the strengths of the library is that it includes many little-known genera such as Amorphophallis, Sutera, Calanthe, Kaempferia and Echium, to name but a few.
