What you need:

  • Bulb planter
  • Daffodil bulbs
  • Bone meal

Arrange the bulbs in a random design on your lawn. Use a bulb planter to dig a hole the proper depth.

Mix a little bone meal with some of the soil from the hole, and place it in the bottom of the hole.

Next, plant your bulb with the growing tip up, into the hole.

Fill the hole up with soil. Break up any soil that is left on the plug of turf and put it in the hole.

The last step is to replace the round turf plug on top. Firm it down gently, being careful not to damage the bulb’s delicate growing point.
