| BIO FILTER 50 GAL 2000 GAL CAPBio Filter with Spillway Made of high molecular weight polyethylene ideal for filtration of ponds up to 2000 gallons. It operates by water flowing from a bulkhead fitting in the bottom of the filter up through the removable screen and filter materials and out over the spillway. Natural materials such as rocks, lava rocks, pebbles, sand , gravel and plants may be used to filter. Alternatively, a mechanical filter media such as fiber or foam cut as a round disc may be used in conjunction with several open bags filled with lava rocks as a biological media. The Biofilter may be buried and the top perimeter hidden with rocks and other natural materials. Flat rocks may also be placed on the spillway. Seal these rocks on the bottom and sides with an adhesive like “Touch and Foam” and water will flow over the rocks on the spillway. Foam adhesive may also aid in arranging rocks around the perimeter of the filter. Size 30″ dia. x 18″ deep.
