For new plantings place one slow release 5-10-5 fertilizer tablet alongside each bulb. These tablets slowly breakdown, releasing active ingredients and creating the desired micro-environment. Thee ammonium slats are then systemically taken up and incorporated into the growing flower. For existing plants, 1 tablet per 2 bulbs, 3″ into the soil.
