This entertaining African species has fat, succulent, sharply angled stems. The enormous (9 inch!) starfish-shaped flower is a subdued yellow covered by miniature purple hairs, its tips terminating in slender elegant threads. Full sun to part shade. Grows to 10-12″ in container. Minimum temperature 40F. Blooms in summer and fall. Shipped in 2.5″ pot.
