Bright orange cones of bloom emerge from the upright stems of this reliable dwarf ginger, with each individual flower opening successively over a period of two weeks or more. An intermittent bloomer throughout the year, we have found it to have two heavy blooming periods, one in summer and one in the winter, making it perfect for both home and garden. Hardy zones 9 and up. Full to partial sun. Grows 1.5 to 2′ in container. Minimum temp. 60F. Intermittent bloomer. Shipped in 2.5″ pot.
