Scientific names list

Every scientific name of a plant known by the common name displayed in the common names field (upper-left corner of the Common Names Window) that is included in the Interactive Manual is displayed in this list. You can use the scroll bar to move up or down in the list and view additional scientific names. If a photo or a line drawing is available for a plant in this list, then an asterisk will appear next to its name. If you click on a plant for which a photo is available, the Photo and the Photo-Review options become active on the Menu Bar. If you click on any plant in the list, the Add option becomes active in the Menu Bar and you can add the selected plant to the plants selected list by clicking Add on the Menu Bar. You can also add a plant in the list to the plants selected list by double-clicking on it in the scientific names list.
